Membership

Vision Statement

  To God's glory and as ambassadors for Christ, out of love for our children, we desire to organize homeschool athletics in order to promote Godly character, excellence, and witness; and to provide Lansing area homeschool athletics an association with a structure for accountability, direction, and communication, so athletics and other programs for homeschoolers can grow and thrive in a balanced, positive way.

Benefits of Membership

  1) Voting rights in LAHAA meetings for parents of home schooled athletes currently enrolled in a LAHAA sponsored sport.

  2) Mailings and website for current information on teams and sports schedules.

  3) Members of the Association are eligible to be Board Members.

  4) LAHAA is a Non-Profit tax-exempt organization and all donations are deductible.

  5) Home-schooled children of member families may participate in LAHAA sponsored sports.

Length and Cost of Membership

  A family membership (cost $30 per family per fiscal year) is effective from the date of enrollment until the next annual meeting of LAHAA.  Each team has additional fees. Fund-raisers are available to help families offset their fees.
